E. coli scare leads to beef recall
An E. coli scare leads an Illinois meat company to recall beef products sold in Wisconsin and 10 other states.
JSM Meat Holdings of Chicago recalled beef bearing the name Morreale Meat.
The questioned products have the designation "EST 6872" in the USDA inspection marker.
E. coli can cause diarrhea, dehydration, kidney failure and even death in some people when they eat contaminated meat
No illnesses have been reported as of this weekend which can be connected to the meat.
