Photography workshop planned at The SPACE
The local Celebrate Photography Club, offered by The SPACE, is offering a Studio Session Workshop for photographers of all experience levels.
The focus of the workshop is "The Role of Composition in Making Stronger Photographs."
Ansel Adams once said, "Countless photographs are dull and unrewarding simply because they convey only the surface light and shadow of the world - not the substance or the spirit."
This Studio Session will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20, beginning at 7 a.m. The workshop will take place at Lindfors Photography, Inc. located in Star Prairie.
The cost per person is $125 for the entire day. Following is a breakdown of the workshops agenda:
7 a.m. -- Breakfast
7:30 a.m. -- Opening Remarks
7:45 a.m. -- Introductions - Participants and Faculty and Slide Presentation
8:15 a.m. -- View Camera Session (Studio)
9:15 a.m. -- Morning Shoot Session- "Standing in the Shooter's Shoes"
11 a.m. -- Edit Shoot Session
Noon -- Lunch
1 p.m. -- Slide show from morning shoot - Discussion/critique of solutions
1:45 p.m. -- Afternoon Shoot Session- "The 10-Minute Date"
4 p.m. -- Edit Shoot Session
5 p.m. -- Dinner
6 p.m. -- Slide show and discussion/critique of afternoon shoot
7 p.m. -- Farewell
*Post optional fire and photo tales for folks who want to hang out.
