School District of New Richmond will receive multiple prime sealed bids in duplicate for the New Richmond High School, bid package #2, until 1:00 P.M. local time, on March 25, 2009, at the New Richmond District Offices, 701 East 11th Street, New Richmond, Wisconsin 54017, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. The work for this Bid Package is Metal Athletic Lockers. Reference Specification Section 01012 - Contract Work Scope Descriptions for a detailed listing of contracts bid.

All bids must be sealed and marked for the appropriate trade contract(s) for which the bid is submitted. Bids shall be submitted in exact accordance with Bidding Documents (including instructions to Bidders and Proposal Forms) and Contract Documents (including drawings and specifications) as prepared by Armstrong Torseth Skold and Rydeen, Inc.

Documents will be available on or about March 6, 2009, for public inspection at the Owner's office, the Architects's office, Armstrong Torseth Skold and Rydeen, Inc.; the Construction Manager's office, Bossardt Corporation; the F.W. Dodge Plan Room, Minneapolis; the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Northwest Regional (Eau Claire and Altoona, WI).

Bidders may obtain sets of Bidding Documents by contacting Judith Bergren at the office of the Construction Manager, Bossardt Corporation, 8585 West 78th Street, Suite 100, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55438, upon making a deposit of $150.00 per set payable to the School District of New Richmond, the plan deposit will be refunded to Bidders who submit a bona fide bid and return the Bidding Documents in good condition within 10 days after receipt of bids. This project is subject to payment of prevailing wage rates for commercial construction as determined by Wisconsin Department of Labor for New Richmond, Wisconsin.

The bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security. No personal checks will be accepted.

A bidder may withdraw his or her bid at any time prior to the date set for receiving bids, or authorized postponements thereof. Thereafter, bids may be withdrawn only after 45 days have elapsed after bid date, provided the School District of New Richmond has not acted thereon. Bids may be withdrawn only by written request.

No bids may be withdrawn within 45 days after opening the bids.

The School District of New Richmond reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding.
