Angels start flying

The holidays can be a stressful time for parents, especially those who are struggling financially.

The group is sponsored by the Lions Clubs of Roberts and Hammond.

Donation drop boxes have been put out at Citizens State Bank, Hazel Mackin Community Library and the Village Hall/Police Station in Roberts and Associated Bank, the Community Library, Village Hall/Police Station and St. Croix Central High School Store in Hammond.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys, clothes and other gifts can be dropped off at those locations until Dec. 10. Monetary donations by check (made out to the Roberts Lions Foundation) may be mailed or given to Committee Chair Sandy Goulette.

If you or someone you know living in the St. Croix Central School District could benefit from this program, call Goulette at 749-3542 by Dec. 10.
