Eastern part of state slammed with snow
At least some schools in eastern and southeast Wisconsin are closed today (Monday) after the region was hit with heavy snow since Sunday afternoon.
Random Lake schools are among those shut down for the day, after that community in Sheboygan was hit with 10 inches by 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
In Jefferson County, Sullivan had almost 9.5 inches as of six this morning.
Many schools in the region are opening two hours late. That includes Lakeland College of Sheboygan.
Up to 2 more inches of snow are expected this morning before the storm system clears out this afternoon.
