Vikings' coach says Brett Favre's quarterback motion looks fine to him

Minnesota Vikings' coach Brad Childress says he has watched videos of Brett Favre working out in Mississippi and he said the quarterback's motion looked fine to him.

Childress made the remark to reporters Sunday at a charity event for former Vikings' center Matt Birk.

The coach says he has not spoken to Favre in a couple weeks and he'll just wait to see what the three-time MVP does.

The 39-year-old former Packer said last week that he must be convinced his arm would hold up for an entire season before he signs with Minnesota.

Favre said he would decide by July 30, when the Viking players report for their training camp.

Favre had surgery in May on a biceps tendon in his throwing arm.

He's been getting the arm in shape by throwing at Oak Grove High School near his home at Hattiesburg, Miss.
