Braun needs four hits in four games to become fourth Brewer to get 200 hits in a season

Ryan Braun needs just four hits in his final four games to become the fourth Brewer in history to get 200 hits in a season.

He has 196 at the moment. Cecil Cooper had 200 hits three times with the Brewers, Paul Molitor twice and Robin Yount once.

Also, Braun could become the third Brewer to lead the league in hits.

He's tied with Hanley Ramirez of Florida for the National League lead at the moment.

Yount led the American League in hits in 1982, and Molitor led the AL in the same category in '91.

Braun says he appreciates how hard it is to get 200 hits in 162 games and he says it's really meaningful to be mentioned in the same breath with past Brewer legends.
