Heritage Days event marks 25th anniversary

It's time for the New Richmond area to celebrate by looking back.

The 25th annual Heritage Days weekend, hosted by the New Richmond Heritage Center, runs from Sept. 24 through Sept. 26. Events will be held rain or shine.

"It is a real community event," said Rachél Starbuck, of the Heritage Center.


• Spaghetti Dinner, from 4:30-7 p.m., Heritage Center Pavilion. Cost is $7, kids 12 and younger $3.


• Fall Five Mile and 5K Run/Walk. This is an event includes a 1 Mile Kids Race. Registration is at 7 a.m.; run starts at 8 a.m.

• Antique Tractor Pull at 9 a.m. at Doboy, 869 S. Knowles Ave.

• First Annual Youth Triathlon begins at 11 a.m. at The Centre Pool, 428 S. Starr Ave.


• Heritage Family Festival, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Event includes pony and stage coach rides, food tent, kids games, craft demonstrations, civil war re-enactors, craft sale, genealogy, free touring of 10 historic buildings, flea market and much more.
