Heritage Days puts local history on display
Hundreds of people attended the weekend's festivities associated with Heritage Days at the New Richmond Heritage Center.
The history of the region and the nation was on display for all to enjoy.
The weekend kicked off on Friday with a spaghetti dinner. On Saturday there was a 5K and 5-mile run/walk, along with other festivities.
Sunday was the big day for Heritage Days, with all the historic buildings open for people to tour, along with the newest building, the History Shed.
Among the displays for the day were Civil War re-enactors, rope making, blacksmithing, petting zoo, henna tatoos, penny candy and much more.
