A new video provides a closer look at the dramatic rescue made last week to save a young man stranded on rushing Willow River waters.

In the clip shot by a bystander during the June 13 incident at Willow River State Park, a park ranger and an arborist are seen working in tandem from shore with ropes to save the victim as he struggles against the torrent.

The rescue attempt kept the young man from going over another set of falls on the river with an approximately 20-foot drop. He was later lowered from the perilous area by Hudson firefighters.

At some point during his episode on the river, the young man lost his pants. During the video above, readers will see a blurry oval covering the young man's buttocks.
