Star Prairie man sentenced in OWI case

A Star Prairie man with multiple drunken-driving convictions was sentenced to prison last week after his probation was revoked in St. Croix County Circuit Court.

Nathan J. Satterlund, 37, was sentenced by St. Croix County Circuit Court Judge Scott Needham to three years in prison and six years on extended supervision at an April 18 revocation hearing.

Satterlund had been convicted in April 2012 of OWI-fourth offense in five years and fleeing or eluding police in a vehicle. Prosecutors said he violated terms of his probation during a Dec. 25, 2015, incident where he allegedly consumed alcohol and assaulted a woman at his Star Prairie home.
