Theft charge in Minnesota dismissed against Hudson man

Charges were dismissed against a Hudson man accused of stealing from a Minnesota golf shop.

One count of felony theft against Donald Voorhees was dismissed Aug. 6, 2014, in Washington County (Minn.) District Court.

The charge stemmed from a February, 2013 incident at Woodbury's Golf Galaxy, where Voorhees allegedly helped himself to more than $1,000 worth of golf equipment.

According to Minnesota court records, Voorhees entered a plea in the case on Aug. 2, 2013; the dismissal order came about a year later.
