Somerset schools to host tours of referendum projects

For those of you interested in seeing your school district referendum dollars at work, Somerset School District administrator Randy Rosburg invites the public to join the Somerset Board of Education on tours of completed referendum projects Jan. 14 and 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the middle and high schools.

Residents can see new classrooms and music, food service, physical education and athletic areas at the high school and the remodeled gym at the middle school.

Two new high efficiency boilers were installed at the middle school, replacing two 38-year-old oil, gas and propane burning boilers.

The high school received a new HVAC system and a new high-efficiency water heater.
