Hip, hip hurray for St. Anne’s HALOS

These students at St. Anne Catholic School in Somerset were recognized as HALO Students of the Month for receiving five or more HALOs in the month of February: Faith Albert, Rachel Arrowood, Pierre Belisle II, Carson Belisle, Andrew Chambers, Tori Creighton, Sam Ekholm, Geoffrey Enger, Megan Erlitz, Adaline Gubricky, Gracie Hayes, Charlie House, Kai Krogmann, Caleb Linkletter, Elise Marek, Riley McGurran, Breahna McQueen, Isabelle Measner, Adrianna Meath, Maksim Mikl, Maddie Nimmo, Ella Olson, Ava Plourde, Ben Rybacki, Jacob Schaefer, Julianna Schimmel, Christian Stawarski, Ava Urquhart, Eric Vater and Julia Warren.

Principal Randy Stanke also presented “traveling” uniform trophies at the assembly. Three of the homerooms achieved 100 percent uniform compliance on uniform check days during the month of February. Each of the homerooms was presented with a trophy that is plated: St. Anne Catholic School “Uniform Class.” Once a homeroom/grade accumulates three “trophies,” that homeroom is entitled to a non-uniform day.

These students were honored at an all-school assembly Thursday, March 4.

Sarah Nigbor

Sarah J. Nigbor serves as a regional editor for RiverTown Multimedia, a position she began in April 2017. She joined RiverTown Multimedia in October 2013 as a news reporter for the New Richmond News, before being appointed editor of the Pierce County Herald in Febraury 2015. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Spanish and French in 2001. She completed a minor in journalism in 2004.
