SCC Elementary students show courage

St. Croix Central Elementary students were recognized for showing courage at the May 5 CARES program assembly.

Kindergartners recognized for showing courage during the month of April were Elsie Hanson, Hannah Schulte, Jack Olson, Lane Gillis, Callie Heinbuch and Quinn Baar.

First-graders recognized as part of the school's CARES program for showing courage during the month of April were Hadley Berger, Jaden Pittman, Colton Kahler, Greyson Goodwin and Maverick Sullivan.

Second-graders recognized as part of the school's CARES program for showing courage during the month of April were Riley Cran, Aaron Siler, Saul Galindo, Cora Hawley and Jayson Dreher.

Third-graders recognized as part of the school's CARES program for showing courage during the month April were Casey Boeseneilers, Addison Kofal, Laura Hannan, Mitchell Toske and Samantha Simmer.

Fourth-graders recognized as part of the school's CARES program for showing courage during the month of April included Justin Darwin, Matthew Johnson, Connor Dykes, Kathryn Lane, Lauren Lindus and Tanner Feyereisen.

St. Croix Central Elementary Specialist Students of the Month are Parker Stensland and Giana Galindo. The pair were picked for the award out of all 600-plus students at the school for exemplifying courage. The May trait is perseverance.
