SCC MS announces December/January Students of the Month

St. Croix Central Middle School helds its December/January Students of the Month ceremony Friday, Feb. 2, at the middle school. During the ceremony, teachers from each grade level read a page about the students stating why they were nominated for Student of the Month. Parents were then invited to take their child out to lunch. This month, Cheap Andy's provided a free lunch for the Students of the Month.

Fifth grade

Jamie Martin

Favorite class: Social studies

Favorite activities: Basketball and swimming

Favorite book: Wonder

What I want to be when I grow up: Zookeeper

What I like about school: I like my teachers and I get to see my friends.

Chase Ducommun

Parents: Kimberly and Brian Ducommun

Favorite class: Computers

Favorite activities: I like football, roblox, live streaming and spending time with family

Favorite book: Wonder

What I want to be when I grow up: Information technology

What I like about school: First I love the teachers. I also like math, reading. Like the all school activities and many more.

Sixth grade

Chase Jeske

Favorite activities: My favorite activities are playing thunder with my friends and gaming online

Favorite book: The Red Pyramid

What I want to be when I grow up: An accountant

What I like about school: What I like about school is recess, lunch, math and W.I.N. time. I like these classes because my friends are in them.

Lucy Mansell

Favorite activities: Basketball, softball, skiing, volleyball, cross country, and playing with my dog Harper

What I want to be when I grow up: Pharmacist, farmer

What I like about school: Recess and talking to friends and playing basketball

Seventh grade

Claire Pommier

Favorite activities: Figure skating, reading, baking, playing board games, hiking, watching movies

Favorite book: Wendy Mass' "The Candymakers" or "The Diary of A Young Girl" by Anne Frank

What I want to be when I grow up: Pharmacist or oncologist

What I like about school: I really like all the great staff and students. Sure, the subjects can be interesting, but it gets much more enjoyable with a great teacher. I really like how school challenges me and pushes me even farther than I knew I could go.

Aidan Schlueter

Eighth grade

MacKenzie Bruesewitz

What I want to be when I grow up: Writer

What I like about school: I love that our school has plenty of opportunities for a higher education because it gives the kids who want a higher education the ability to have it unlike other schools.
