New Richmond will host four 'year in review' egg bake sessions in December

Body:

The end of the year is fast approaching and New Richmond City Administrator Mike Darrow personally invites the public to the third annual end-of-the-year egg bake breakfast.

If you have attended before, Darrow said you will be promised egg bake meticulously cooked by his own hand.

“If you are a first-timer, please know that the purpose (in addition to eating egg bake) is to offer a "year in review" highlight as well as a brief overview of the city’s budget,” Darrow said.

“More importantly, however, is that this is an opportunity to listen to stakeholders so we can improve our services,” he added.

This year, the city will be hosting a total of four sessions - see the list below.

Additionally, the city has posted a special notice on its Facebook page for interested community members to participate.

“Space is limited - as is my cooking ability,” Darrow said.

The dates for the four upcoming sessions are as follows:

  • Friday, Dec. 4;

  • Wednesday, Dec. 9;

  • Friday, Dec. 11; and

  • Tuesday, Dec. 15

Please let Darrow (mdarrow@newrichmondwi.gov) or Kari (kkraft@newrichmondwi.gov) know by Nov. 30 if intending to attend one of these sessions.

Each session will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Civic Center, and continue until about 9 a.m.

“I hope to see you for breakfast … and thanks so much for being part of our community,” Darrow said.

“#eggbake2015 … it promises to be better than #eggbake2014 and twice as good as #eggbake2013!” Darrow added.
