According to a news release from the City of New Richmond, the city will be conducting a siren test on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m. as part of a noise audit of the siren system.

The following the news release from the City of New Richmond:

"The City of New Richmond will be conducting a siren test tomorrow, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 am.  The purpose of this test is to conduct a noise audit of our siren system.   As the city has seen growth in many areas within the city, the purpose of the siren test is to ensure that new growth areas are within acceptable alert ranges in the event of an emergency.  We will have various personnel stationed in several locations during this test to determine if additional changes need to be made within our emergency system.

Please be advised that the test tomorrow is only a test.  If you have any questions or comments, please contact Mike Darrow at 715.246-4268.  Thank you."
