I-94 bridge work to impact traffic in St. Croix County

Work to replace the 233rd Street Bridge over I-94 in St. Croix County will result in overnight lane closures April 25-28.

The closures will take place between Baldwin and Glenwood City [Exit 19 (US 63) and Exit 28 (WIS 128)].

The closures are required to remove the existing 233rd Street Bridge.

Westbound I-94 is scheduled to be closed to traffic during the following times:

Monday, April 25, at 10:30 p.m. to Tuesday, April 26, at 5 a.m.; and Tuesday, April 26, at 10:30 p.m. to Wednesday, April 27, at 5 a.m.

During these times, westbound traffic will be detoured onto US 12 between Exit 28 (STH 128) to Exit 19 (US 63) Eastbound I-94 is scheduled to be closed to traffic during the following times:

Wednesday, April 27, at 10:30 p.m. to Thursday, April 28, at 5 a.m.; and Thursday, April 28, at 10:30 p.m. to Friday, April 29, at 5 a.m.

During these times, traffic will be detoured onto US 12 between Exit 19 (US 63) to Exit 28 (STH 128). Additional single lane closures are expected each day between the 5-8 a.m. and 6-10:30 p.m. A new bridge is expected to be completed and opened to traffic later this summer.
