NRMS students take part in Math Counts state competition

Five New Richmond Middle School students recently took part in the Math Counts state competition in Sheboygan, including Alex Jarchow as an individual as well as Sam LaPean, Tyler Dennis, Zach Johnson and Zach Larkin as a team. The students enjoyed a quick stop at Lambeau Field on the way to the competition at the Acuity Center in Sheboygan. Math Counts is a national competitive math program in which students develop problem solving skills while working alone and in groups. Coaches are Elizabeth Rasmussen and Maria Miller.
