Hammond Community Library: Thank you for a great event

Written by library director Michelle Johnson

On Saturday, April 8, the library partnered with the American Heritage Care Center and hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for the children ages 2-8. Thank you for the wonderful donations that made this event a great success by Russ Davis Wholesale Inc., Hair Junction, Holiday Angels, St. Croix Electric, St. Croix Discovery Preschool, the SCC 4K classrooms, Hammond Snow Drifters, and Bag Man LLC.

This summer our theme is "Build a Better World!" We are building a better world by offering you and your family many opportunities to participate in fun activities. Not only will we have the library camps, we also have fun evenings planned for families — watch for dates and times of these special events. You will also be able to take our reading challenge: Who can build the most and the tallest buildings just by reading? Come check out the details of how you can start building this summer.

Plus don't forget about the prizes, guessing games and other challenges that are offered this summer to help you reach your goal of building the tallest or the most buildings this summer at the library!
