Hammond library: Many exciting events and programs coming up

As we are nearing the end of April and approaching the next few months we are excited about the program offerings at the library. The staff of the library is excited about the upcoming summer library camps we have planned starting the week of June 5, remember your registration for the camps is important to us. We will also be having a reading challenge and a chance to win some great prizes this summer. Come on in and check out the details during the week of May 22 and you may even win a prize during the week of May 22.

The Friends of the Hammond Community Library is a wonderful group of volunteers who support the library in many ways. One of the many ways the groups supports the library is by offering programs to the community. You will find a list of Friends Group events below and they hope you enjoy the offerings they have for you coming up in June.

If you are interested in joining the Friends group please stop in and find out when their next meetings are or how you can be a part of the Hammond Community Library and the community we live in by volunteering your talents. From volunteering at the library to working at events or helping to write grants, or even hosting a class of your own.
