Middle Border Conference boys tennis meet moved to New Richmond

Next Tuesday's Middle Border Conference boys tennnis championships has been shifted to New Richmond.

The change was announced Friday morning. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played at Osceola. The decision to move the tournament was made because of the condition of the Osceola courts.

Altoona, Amery, Baldwin-Woodville, Eau Claire Regis, Ellsworth, New Richmond and Osceola will play in the tournament. The tournament will begin at 9 a.m.

Tuesday will be a busy day at the NRHS sports complex. New Richmond will also be hosting the Middle Border Conference track meet, which starts at 4 p.m.

The New Richmond baseball and softball teams will be playing road games that day. The baseball team will play at Roseville, Minn., and the softball team will play at Somerset.
