SCC Elementary students show optimism
St. Croix Central Elementary students were recognized for showing optimism at the Oct. 6 CARES program assembly.
Kindergartners recognized for showing optimism during the month of September were Ava Johnson, Ruthanne Studt, Hannah Christensen, Drew Berger, August Boury and Kayna Bihner.
First-graders recognized as part of the school's CARES program for showing optimism during the month of September were Gabe Thompson, Eli Boeseneilers, Brooks Hafele, Landen Thobani and Jackson Mattison.
Second-graders recognized were Dakota Goodchild, Karen Hernandez, Joshua Lanoux, Brooklyn Gillis and Aniyah Phouthone.
Third-graders recognized as part of the school's CARES program were Meadow (Jordan) Jesse, Leana Goodrich, Marley Maxson, Izzy Meyers and Rylie Toenjes.
Fourth-graders who showed optimism during the month of September included Nathan Hein, Jace Klinger, Ashlyne Gordon, Mitchell Toske, Vanessa Spataro and Shawn Rogan.
St. Croix Central Elementary Specialist Students of the Month were Brian Tene-Mendez and Ayda Miller. The pair was picked for the award out of all 600-plus students at the school for exemplifying optimism.
The Staff Shout-Outs of the Month for September went to Ms. Criego, Mrs. Parsons and Mrs. Mueller.
