With donations down, Salvation Army to hold press conference

The following is a press release sent out to local media by the Salvation Army of St. Croix and Polk County: 

"Grace Place and Serenity Home Homeless Shelters, which are operated by the local Salvation Army in St. Croix and Polk County Wisconsin, are struggling. Donations are down significantly and programs are at risk. The Salvation Army will be holding a press conference at the Osceola Medical Center Thursday December 7, at 3 p.m. Further details will be shared at the press conference.

In other news, the Salvantion Army Red Kettle dollars are also down significantly.

Raised to date: $24,471.44 in Polk County our goal is $80,000 by Dec. 31. 

Raised to date: $33,396.58 in St. Croix County our goal is $130,000 by Dec. 31.
