05/06/2008 12:00 AM Paul David Vedra, "Dave", 84, passed away passed away on May 1, 2008, after a very brief battle with cancer surrounded by his family in the house he built. Mass of Christian Burial and interment were at St. Anne’s Church in Somerset on Monday, May 5.
05/06/2008 12:00 AM Sandra K. (Misselt) Schwartz, 56, of Star Prairie, Wis., died Friday, May 2, 2008 with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. The funeral service for Sandy will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at Smith Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Brunswick Cemetery.
05/05/2008 12:00 AM Ardyce J. Burke, 87, of Amery, died at the Golden Age Manor on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Services were held at Little Falls Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. The Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery assisted the family with arrangements.
05/04/2008 12:00 AM Luella Olena Metlie (Eggen), age 95, of Woodville, Wis. died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Baldwin Care Center in Baldwin, Wis. Visitation for Luella will be on Tuesday, May 6 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Baldwin from 4-7 p.m. as well as at church 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral service for Luella will be Wednesday, May 7 at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Baldwin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Baldwin Cemetery. Funeral services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin.
05/04/2008 12:00 AM Gordon Stevermer, age 83, of New Richmond, died on Saturday, May 3, 2008. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in New Richmond. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Beebe Mortuary and also Wednesday from 10-11 at the church. Interment will be in the Granum Cemetery in Milltown. Arrangements are with Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond.
