On Saturday, April 19, the New Richmond Coaches Association and New Richmond High School Athletes held their first ‘community spring clean-up day’ event. Their goal was to go out into the community to volunteer their time by cleaning up yards and helping people in this community.

I agree with Ingrid Kizen. I moved to New Richmond eight years ago from the German-speaking part of Switzerland (Switzerland has four official languages) and it never came to my mind that this country would have to accommodate me in any way.

The drilling has begun in Southview and I don’t know why. What drilling you ask? Well, if you have been through Southview as of late you will see what I am alluding to. Many locator flags are up around people’s lawns as to where cable, phone and water lines are located.
