St. Croix Central football coach Tony DiSalvo has earned an honor because of the success the Panthers have seen over the past several seasons. That success includes reaching the WIAA Division 4 state championship game each of the past two seasons.

It was announced last Wednesday, Nov. 15 that DiSalvo has been selected to coach the North Small School team in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star series next summer. Those games will be played on Saturday, July 21, at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh. This will be the first time DiSalvo will serve as a head coach in the WFCA All-Star series. He was an assistant coach for the North Small School team two years ago.

DiSalvo said he will begin assembling his coaching staff for the game in the upcoming days. The coaching staff will then begin tackling the task of building a roster, from senior players who are nominated by their high school coaches.
