Three St. Croix Central Elementary students won contests at the school to name a new exercise path and the two new computer labs that opened in November. Kindergartner Taylor Browning (left) named one of the new labs “The Knowledge Nook.” . Second-grader Sophie Franklin (middle) named a new paver stone exercise path on the playground “Energy Path” because exercising gives kids energy, she said. Kaydence Hayden, 4, of Somerset, told Santa Claus during his stop at the Somerset Youth Civic Center (Archie Montpetit Memorial Ice Arena) Dec. 18 that she wanted Rapunzel and a Barbie.
