Bonnie J. Brown, age 71 of Osceola, Wis. and Fort Myers Beach, Fla., has passed away. Celebration of Life Monday, August 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Somerset, Wis. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Cullen Crea Funeral Home, New Richmond, Wis. and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Lyle L. (Pop) Lehner, age 81, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. Memorial Service on Saturday, August 15 at 3 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset. Memorial visitation from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
Quentin John Weinzierl, age 85 of Somerset and formerly of Houlton, Wis., died peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the St. Croix Health Center. Quentin was born on August 16, 1923 at his home in Clam Falls, Wis. His parents were Christian and Elizabeth (Logelin) Weinzierl. He attended Union Free High School in Frederic, Wis., graduating in 1941. He served proudly for the United States Army from 1948 to 1953. He married Jean Marie Walker on Dec. 12, 1953 in Pine City, Minn. Quentin was a pipe fitter with Local Union 455.
Wilma Larson, age 86 of New Richmond and St. Croix Falls, Wis., passed away on August 8, 2009 at Good Samaritan Center, St. Croix Falls. Memorial service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, New Richmond, Wis. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment West Immanuel Cemetery. Arrangements by the St. Croix Valley Funeral Home & Polk County Cremation Society, St. Croix Falls, Wis.
Linda A. Titel, age 62, a resident of Spooner, originally of New Richmond, died peacefully with family members at her bedside on August 4, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minn. Memorial services on Thursday, August 13 at 1 p.m. at Scalzo-Taylor Family Funeral Home in Spooner with Pastor Diane Blahauvietz officiating. A time of gathering prior to services from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers or gifts memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Scalzo-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Spooner, Wis.
Robert W. Glenn, age 54, of New Richmond, died on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. There will be no services at this time. Funeral arrangements by the Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the First Reformed Church in Baldwin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 4-7 p.m. at the Bakken-Young Funeral Home in Baldwin and on Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Baldwin Cemetery. Theresa Marie Swanson, age 49, of New Richmond, Wis., passed away a few minutes before noon on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. from complications from a heart attack. Visitation Friday, August 7 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Luncheon at the church following service. Arthur E. Soderquist, age 92 of New Richmond, and formerly of St. Paul, Minn., died on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond. Funeral service Thursday, August 6 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in New Richmond. Visitation also on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment in the Oakland Cemetery. Betty Jane Reed, 86, long-time resident of Somerset, Wis. died Sunday, Aug. 2 in Stillwater, Minn. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7 at Christ Lutheran Church, 510 Germain St., Somerset with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Co.
