Friday Library Column: Check out the upcoming classes at the Friday Library

When you stop by to make your donation to Food for Fines, an opportunity to benefit Five Loaves Food Shelf while reducing or eliminating any fines on your library account Feb. 5-17, consider staying for one of this month's many classes as well.

Thursday, Feb. 8, at 6:30 p.m. - Books & Brews: Meet us at Table 65. We'll be discussing Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese

Saturday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. - You & Me for Tea: A special tea and story time for bigs and littles together. Join us for a story, light snack, and paper-folding craft. Registration required. See our website for details.

Monday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. - Snake Discovery: School is out so the snakes are coming in. Join us to learn more about them and even get a chance to hold one.

Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. - Tech Tutor: Bring your device, bring your questions. We're here to help!

Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 4:30 p.m. - Library Board Meeting will be held in the Civic Center ED Lab

Thursday, March 1, at 10 a.m. - Mystery Book Club: We'll be discussing Speaking in Bones by Kathy Reichs

Saturday, March 3, at 10 a.m. - Sit. Stay. Read. Read to Alaska, a therapy dog here to listen.

March 5-8, at 4 p.m. - Escape Rooms for Teens: Join us as we celebrate Teen Tech Week with four opportunities to solve our themed escape room. Registration required. Contact the front desk for details.

Mondays at 10 a.m. - BabyGarten features rhymes, stories, and playtime for ages 0-2.

Fridays at 10 a.m. - Little University Read, write, sing, talk, play, and make new friends for ages 2-5.

First and Third Mondays at 10 a.m. - Willow River Writers This volunteer led group meets at the Civic Center, lower level Conference Room 1.
