INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Town of St. Joseph, Wisconsin, hereby gives notice that Sealed Bids (faxes will not be considered Sealed Bids) will be received in the office of the Town Clerk, 1337 County Road V, Hudson, WI 54016, for the St. Joseph Public Works Garage. Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M., CST, on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the St. Joseph Town Hall, at which time and place the Town Clerk and City Engineer, or their designated representative, shall publicly open and read aloud the Bids. Sealed Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened.
St. Joseph Public Works Garage
In general, Project Work consists of construction of a new post-frame construction building including, but not limited to, columns and footings, roof trusses, wall subgirts, roof purlins, prefinished metal wall and roof panels, upward acting sectional doors, service door, and site improvements. New electrical service from existing panelboard in Town Hall to service receptacles and light fixtures will be included under a bid alternate. New concrete floor slab with trench drain, sand interceptor, and flammable waste trap. A new concrete apron at east side of building with pipe bollards. A new concrete stoop with frost footings at the service door. Plumbing system connecting sand interceptor to flammable waste trap and then connecting flammable waste trap to existing drain field. All concrete slab, apron, stoop and plumbing work will be included under a bid alternate.
BIDS: To be considered, Bids must be sealed and addressed to the Town Clerk, Town of St. Joseph, 1337 County Road V, Hudson, Wisconsin, 54016. Bids must be endorsed with the name and address of the Bidder and the Project Name for which the Bid is being submitted.

BID SECURITY: No Bid will be considered which is not accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Town of St. Joseph, Wisconsin in an amount of not less than 5 percent of the Bid amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
