ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: The School District of New Richmond will be receiving sealed bids for the New Richmond Middle School Dishmachine Replacement Project, located at 920 Riley Avenue, New Richmond, Wisconsin 54017, in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by Armstrong, Torseth, Skold & Rydeen, Inc., Architects and Engineers, 8501 Golden Valley Road, Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN 55427-4414.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of dishwashing machine, booster, heater, and dish table replacement, including associated utility work.
TYPE OF BIDS: Single Lump Sum Bids will be received for the Work being included under the Contract.
BID DATE: Bids must be received on or before May 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., local time.
DELIVERY AND OPENING OF BIDS: Bids shall be delivered to and will be opened at the New Richmond School District Buildings & Grounds Office located at 701 East 11th Street, New Richmond, Wisconsin, 54017, to the attention of Robert Parent, Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately after the specified time of closure for bidding period.
Interested parties are invited to attend the opening of the bids.
BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount of 5 percent of the Base Bid submitted, made payable to the Owner, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, if awarded the Contract, enter into a Contract with the Owner in accordance with Bid submitted and the Contract Documents.

Procurement of Documents By Prime Bidders: Prime Bidders may secure up to (2) hard copy sets of Bidding Documents upon receipt of a refundable deposit of $25.00 per set, made payable to Architect.
Procurement of Documents By Sub-Bidders: Sub-Bidders may purchase full or partial hard copy sets of Bidding Documents from Reprographic Source. Cost for purchasing hard copy Bidding Documents is non-refundable. Contact Reprographic Source for costs.
Procurement of Addenda: Hard copies of Addenda will be issued to Prime Bidders, Plan Rooms and Builders Exchanges identified in this Section, free of charge. Copies of Addenda will not be issued to Sub-Bidders who have purchased hard copy Bidding Documents from Reprographic Source. Sub-Bidders may purchase hard copies of Addenda from Reprographic Source; such charges are non-refundable.
PRE-BID MEETING: A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on April 23, 2019, beginning at 2:00 P.M. local time. Meet at New Richmond Middle School. Meeting is recommended for Prime Bidders. Sub-Bidders may attend.
TIME OF COMMENCEMENT: Work may commence on site, June 17, 2019.
TIME OF COMPLETION: Owner requires Substantial Completion of contract Work on or before August 16, 2019.
BONDING REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount of 100 percent of Contract Amount.
OWNER'S RIGHTS: Owner reserves the right to reject a Bid which is incomplete or irregular, the right to waive informalities or irregularities in a Bid received, and the right to accept a Bid which in the Owner's judgment is in Owner's best interests.
