NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF A REVISED ZONING CODE AND ZONING MAP FOR THE
VILLAGE OF DEER PARK, WISCONSIN.
TITLE 13 OF THE RECODIFIED VILLAGE OF DEER PARK CODE OF ORDINANCES
Notice is hereby given that the Village Board of the Village of Deer Park at its regular monthly meeting on June 3, 2019, passed the "Village of Deer Park Zoning Code," Title 13 of the current recodification of the Village's Code of Ordinances. The Board also approved a revised Zoning Map of the Village.
This ordinance seeks to promote the general comfort, health, safety, morals, prosperity, aesthetics and general welfare of the people of the Village of Deer Park. The Ordinance divides the Village into Zoning Districts and thereby seeks to protect the character, the stability of the Village and to promote its orderly and beneficial development. The ordinance provides site and use regulations for the various zoning districts and establishes permitted and conditional uses within each district. It addresses nonconforming uses, structures and lots and regulates parking and access issues. It regulates signs placed within the Village. It further addresses wind energy systems and wireless telecommunications systems. It specifies rules for accessory buildings, screening, landscaping and fences. It regulates mobile home communities. It provides a procedure for amending the Code and a procedure for seeking variances from the Code requirements. Finally, it specifies fees to be paid for applications for rezoning, conditional use permits, or variances or appeals from zoning requirements or rulings and it specifies penalties for violations of the terms of the Code.
As part of the process, the Village Board also approved a revised Zoning Map for the Village.
