TVWeek comes to New Richmond News
Readers will find the newly launched TVWeek tucked inside next week's edition.
The full-color special section will appear every Wednesday and include programming for Thursday through Thursday.
But TVWeek is more than a listing of what you might watch and when; it has entertainment news plus a wordsearch, crossword and Sudoku.
"This gives our readers another reason to buy our products and another benefit," Publisher Neal Ronquist said.
TVWeek is a modernized version of the traditional TV insert newspapers offered years ago. The new layout takes into consideration the way people access programming today. Here are some of the features:
• Detailed programming grids, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., for dozens of channels.
• Color-coding that highlights movies, news and sports programs throughout the week.
• Channels will be displayed with numbers designating where to find listing for any of services — Comcast/Xfinity, Baldwin Lightstream, Northwest Communications, CenturyLink Dish and DirecTV.
• A robust presentation of related TV and entertainment content, including celebrity profiles, primetime show highlights and Q&As.
In addition, the TVWeek published in the New Richmond News, River Falls Journal and Hudson Star Observer includes advertising from local businesses and organizations that see value in appearing in a product that has a shelf life of seven days, every week for 52 weeks.
