St. Croix Valley Shrine Club elects officers

The St. Croix Valley Shrine Club held their annual meeting Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the New Richmond Golf Club.

President Jeremy Fussy, who was completing his two-year term, reported his goal during his tenure was to increase attendance and involvement in the Shrine. He asked for constant feedback from members and his goal was realized.

The stag affair also heard reports on the Roadrunners, the upcoming Fall Festival, Little East West Shrine game and plans for the next MSA in Deadwood, S.D., in August 2018.

The officers elected by ballot to lead the club were, Roger Keller, president/football chair; Ed Swenson, vice president/onion chair; Larry Wiegand, secretary; Jack Thomas, treasurer; Bob Hering, trout pond/hospital rep; Mike Kastens, chaplin; Milt Helmer, zephyr correspondent; Dale Brathol, director; Carl Gaulke, director; Brian Chapin, director/membership; Doug Hoffman, director/football; Larry Riemenschneider, director/ past potentate; and Jeremy Fussy, past president.

The meeting was run very efficiently and was full of valuable information.
