New Richmond sixth grade Language Arts Extension class participants and Chapter2 Book Review Crew Club members recently met with “Giant Pumpkin Suite” author, Melanie Heuiser Hill. Participants were able to ask questions specifically about where she got her ideas as well as how she worked through the process to get her book published. Heuiser Hill lives in the Twin Cities and referenced local events in her writing which fostered a strong student connection. Submitted photo
