Somerset School Board primary results

The residents of the Somerset School District came out to vote for the four people they feel should represent the community on the Somerset Board of Education on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The top eight vote getters from Tuesday's primary will move on to the spring election in April. Voters were allowed to vote for four candidates

The top vote getter was Lorri Baillargeon, who had 287 votes, according to St. Croix County's unofficial results summary report, which was updated at 9:01 p.m. on Tuesday night. 

The next seven top vote getters included: Catherine Cranston (280 votes), Robert Gunther (278), Bruce Baillargeon (277), Shari Walters (273), Patty Schachtner (264), John Edward Siggens (194) and Nancy Dressel (164). The two candidates who will not be moving on to the spring election include: Terry Otradovec (112 votes) and Julie Lange (110). 

The spring election will be held on April 3.
