Introducing the County-a Traveling Book Club
Something new in the County-a Traveling Book Club!
We are excited to have several of the county libraries join efforts to get people out in other communities and enjoy meeting new people to have great discussions on a book each month. The first meeting will be on Oct. 18, at the Phoenix Grill in Baldwin. We will be discussing "The Same Sky" by Amanda Eyre Ward. Come at 6 p.m. to order food if you like and book talk will start about 6:30 p.m. Call your local library to order your book and register for the book club. The group will typically meet the third Thursday of the month.
Story Time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Bring your children ages 4 and under and look forward to lots of laughs and learning. Story time includes: songs, finger play, stories, crafts, sensory bins and a theme each week.
TAB: Tuesday, Oct. 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m. If you are a teen that wants to be involved in decision making for programs and events, this is the meeting you should get to. Food is provided. They will be planning the Teen Halloween Event for Oct. 26, 4-6 p.m.
Yellowstone Trail 5k Run: Saturday, Oct. 13. Run will start at our library and registration information can be received by contacting the Central St. Croix Area Chamber of Commerce.

We have people always using the library for a variety of reasons and we have some great spots to enjoy conversations and get something done at the same time.
Strong Seniors: this group meets every Tuesday and Thursday, 1-2 p.m. Chair workouts are done with light hand weights. In this cold season, come on in to get your body moving!
Senior Coffee and Cookies: every Friday, 10-12 p.m. This is a fantastic way to come together and enjoy conversations, play some games and find out about what is going on in our community.
