Krissa Coleman column: Teen mural contest winner chosen
We are thrilled to announce the winner of our Teen Mural Contest, SCC senior Sara Nyhus. "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one." George R.R. Martin is the quote that the Teen Advisory Board selected to be the theme for the mural. Sara will be working to complete this mural which will be the final piece to the new teen area at the library.
We are thrilled with her vision and we are excited to see this area come to a completion. Sara is one of the many artists that has work on display at the library for National Youth Art Month.
Thank you to the community families and friends for coming out to see all of the talented students that have art on display during our special open house.
