Hammond Library column: Looking forward to spring!

We are thinking spring at the library, from spring-themed programs to looking forward to two Easter Egg Hunts in April.

The first Easter Egg Hunt will be down at the Village Park, behind the nursing home, at 10 a.m. for ages 2-7 and a special Easter Egg Hunt just for tweens, ages 8-13, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6. At the April 6 Easter Egg Hunt the Friends of the Library are hosting a Spring Bake Sale from 10-11 a.m. Come out, have some fun and purchase a few baked goods while they last.

The second Easter egg hunt will be hosted at Hammond Health Services on April 13. More details to come for the April 13 hunt.

Other Easter-themed or related activities you may find at the library: Bunny Art Nights, Easter Egg Art Night, Easter Egg Cookie Decorating; see times and dates below with our list of programs. Remember to register for each program you are attending. Registration forms can be found at hammondpubliclibrary.org or via social media posts.
