Girl Scouts from Troop 56177 recently completed their Girl Scout Bronze Award by making catnip strawberries that were donated to Bobtown Pet Clinic in Roberts. The fifth grade Junior Level SCC Girl Scout Troop 56177 delivered the strawberries in person. Troop 56177 members earn Girl Scout Bronze Award

                               On Tuesday, May 1, the Friends of the Friday Memorial Library donated $1,800 to the Friday Memorial Library. The funds will be used to purchase materials for the library’s Lucky Day collection, and will also help fund the Adult Summer Reading Program. The unique design of an all-inclusive playground includes equipment that engages all of a child's senses making it more interactive at all levels than a typical playground. Equipment is likely to incorporate elements of sound like drums, reflective surfaces for visual effects, different textural surfaces,  and additional railings, the poured rubber surface and a fence for safety.
