The Somerset Lions Club recently donated $1,000 to the Somerset Community Food Pantry. Pictured are (from left) Tim Lindquist, Cindy Jonas-Christen, David Bracht and Nancy Vanasse. The Lions Club also gave $500 to the “Food for Thought” program which helps fund school lunch accounts for families that need it and provides kids with healthy snacks anytime during the school day to any kids regardless of needs. The St. Croix Tavern League of Wisconsin recently donated $500 — with a matching grant from the Wisconsin State Tavern League Charity fund for a total of $1000 — to the Western Wisconsin Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
