On April 1, 2019, Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is scheduled to begin an improvement project on I-94 from WIS 128 to 250th Street in St. Croix and Dunn Counties. Proposed improvements include removing and replacing deteriorated concrete pavement, removing and replacing 6 structures, associated grading, pavement marking, signing, right of way fencing, beam guard, cable barrier, and incidentals.
Exciting times in life can sometimes come with a tinge of sadness. Fifteen Chippewa Valley Technical College Nursing-Associate Degree graduates shared those mixed feelings Monday, Dec. 17, at ceremony in which they received their nursing pins, a tradition of the profession dating back 120 years.
The Friends of Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Parks will bring in Falconer Abbey Krumrie to Kinnickinnic State Park on Saturday, July 28, for all ages to enjoy. Krumie will present her "Falcons of the Driftless" program which will include a peregrine falcon, merlin kestrel and a screech owl.
